Cross Country Mountain Bike Race

Saturday June 10, 2017. Rain or shine.

Race Schedule:

7:00 am – Registration opens
8:45 am – Registration closes and race briefing begins
9:00 am – PRO/CAT 1/Single Speed/Fat Bike race starts
9:10 am – CAT 2 race starts
9:30 am – CAT 3 race starts

Where is it?

The race will be conducted at Manorville Hills County Park, Route 111 Manorville, NY 11949.

Course Description:

One of the finer courses on Long Island, Manorville Hills is a 10 mile loop of single track with no flats. There is plenty of climbing with lots of rolling downhills throughout. Fire roads will be utilized to allow ample opportunities for passing.

Registration:

The race fee is $60.00 and a valid USAC license (annual or one day) is required of all racers.

Categories:

Men and Women Pro, Cat 1, Cat 2, Fat Bike, and Single Speed will do 2 laps (20 miles).
Cat 3 and Youth racers will race 1 lap (10 miles).

Pre-riding is permissible up to a half an hour before the first wave of racers. The course is subject to change in distance and route based on the race directors discretion.

Prizes and Awards:

Prizes will be awarded for Pro 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers (both men and women).  Awards will be given for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for all other categories (both men and women).

Rules:

Event held under USA Cycling Permit. All 2015 USA Cycling Mountain Bike Rules apply. Riders must wear helmets when on the bike at all times. Riders shall stay on the course or existing trails. For a complete listing of USA Cycling Rules, please click here.
